Smells heavenly!
My girlfriend loves this stuff. She loves it so much that after begging me to get more for her, she made me swear to never tell her bestie, who always tries to copy her. I get it. You want to have your own scent, your own persona, and all of that. But I still thought it was kind of funny.
"Whatever you do, never tell Sil!" she made me promise. And she was kinda fierce about it.
“Okay, okay!” I said. My girlfriend doesn’t realize sometimes that all I wanna do is make her happy, so I’d never go against her stern perfume wishes. I’m loyal that way.
I have all kinds of allergies. I really loathe "perfumey" perfumes. You know that thing that happens when you walk past someone and the cloud of their cologne hits you like someone just threw a drink in your face? Yeah, I hate that.
That is NOT what this perfume is like.
It's the opposite of garish and tacky. Seriously. No sharp edges.
I put my face in my beloved's neck all the time, and even if she's only recently applied this Ciel, I don't get blasted with a headache and smell like her for hours afterward. This stuff is subtle, nuanced, and never gets all up in your face like an insecure person who needs to you to notice them. No, it's gentle, but firm. It's definitely a perfume, or an "EAU DE PARFUM," if that's the proper term, but it just smells like her. Somehow, it really just smells like her.
I love the smell of her when she has nothing on, just her most natural smell. I find that intoxicating. But when she uses Ciel, it’s kind of like an extension of her. I don’t know how to explain it, but maybe it’s like when you kiss your lover and taste a little brandy or wine on their breath. It’s still them; it still tastes like the one you love, but it’s sort of an extension of them too.
I don’t know perfumes at all. I don’t truly know what words you’re supposed to use to describe them and I have NEVER written a review for any perfume or cologne before this.
But I like this stuff on her. It’s expensive as heck, but it really, really smells lovely and never overpowers. I don’t know how Octavia Morgan does it, but they do it. They get it done.
This is truly some 5-star perfume in my previously acknowledged lack of knowledge in the field. I don’t know if they have a sampler, but they should.

I purchased this fragrance for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. She mentioned it in passing and I thought it would be great to surprise her! Can’t wait to see her face when she opens her gift!🎁
Great scent. Best way I can describe it is light, fresh, and mysterious. Always receive compliments as to why I smell so good. Packaging could be better. Received with the top not screwed on all the way perfume dripping down the bottle. Overall I love the way I smell and feel when I wear this perfume.
