I was surprised by the citrusy notes in this perfume- as I expected it to be more of a warm earthy woodsy smell, but I'm not upset by them at all. Its more of a soft bergamot citrus than an in your face lemon or orange. I enjoyed wearing it, and love the smell. I asked my husband his thoughts, and while its not his favorite perfume on me, he liked it. Its also not one he would feel uncomfortable wearing- but again its not his favorite. He likes musky for him and sweet for me. I think its a wonderful work smell- like it doesn't have any particular smell that would be offensive to anyone in the work place and its not incredibly strong. Its more a whiff as you walk by type of perfume. It doesn't wear for a long time- I would say approximately 4 hours- but that is enough to start the day strong, and maybe re-apply or layer it with something earthy, woodsy or spicy to switch it up in the afternoon. Fragrance type: Citrus/Fruity Woody/Earthy Bottom Line- Yes I would recommend this to a friend (and have!)
I am a little confused about this fragrance. But first I want to share my feelings about packaging. It is so elegant. No bright color or too extravagant letter. This design is extremely laconic. The only thing that made me annoyed is that you almost can’t open the box without damaging it. I suppose that it is kinda a thief protection, but they need to make it other way. I love the scent. The notes are really wonderful and sound great together. When I smelled it at the first time, I felt some burned vanilla marshmallow. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t feel the fragrance on myself. For me it is the good sign that I won’t have any headache and the scent suits me. But here the confusion comes. If I don’t feel the scent, my husband does. And he said that it is not great at all. To say that I was shocked is to say nothing. Still want to try it on my husband instead of me. As the brand stands that the fragrance is unisex. But still don’t know what to do, because I like it, but afraid that not only my hubby would find it bad on me.

This parfum is very long lasting and I was impressed by the smell that lasted for me the whole day. I love the legendary scent. I would say it is herbal so it could be used for men or women. The branding is simple and modern. I loved the simple branding to show off how pure the scent is. Legendary is for a simple but strong scent for taking on every day. Legendary can easily become your staple scent to wear when you take on a tough work day or get out with friends. It will linger in the room to help others remind them of you and how powerful you truly are. I love the name legendary for this because I feel it is a match with the herbal scent.

Legendary is hands down the most beautiful sandalwood. I adore sandalwood and I love Santal 33—Legendary is like a cousin to Santal 33. They are not twins though. Legendary is softer and has a beautiful amber and then dries down with a creamy sandalwood with soft musk. I find the Le Labo Santal to be more iris/powdery and a bit spicier; the sandalwood feels sharper too. Legendary is a fantastic unisex fragrance. I found the longevity on Legendary to be literally-- legendary. She was still strong 12 hours later on my clothes. I found this to be a very uplifting and pleasant scent to wear, and I got a compliment in both the office elevator and the lobby. I prefer this to my Santal 33, and I hope this fragrance gets the traction it certainly deserves. So well blended and beautiful. This product was provided in exchange for my honest feedback.
